If you’re a fan of Halloween and the spooky season in general, brace yourselves — more holiday decorations have gone up at Disneyland Park. We spotted yuletide decor in the New Orleans Square section of the park on October 20, just 11 days before Halloween and a full 66 days until Christmas.
More Holiday Decorations Go Up in Disneyland Park
The New Orleans Square decorations were installed just a few days after snow caps were added atop Sleeping Beauty Castle, our first indication that the winter season has arrived at Disneyland Park. The current holiday decoration installation timeline is consistent with that of years past; last year, we, too, first noticed holiday decor around Disneyland Resort in late October.
The current festive garnish of New Orleans Square is not yet substantial, consisting of just a few of the classic Santa moon ornaments hanging from a tree, string lights hanging between building facades, and décor adorning the top of the Royal Street Veranda building.
Are you ready for the holiday decorations to arrive, or do you need Santa to hold his reindeer? Let us know in the comments.
Snow on Sleeping Beauty Castle
The snow caps, which are added every year, are on the central roof and small turrets of the castle, as well as the tallest tower in the back.
One tower on the right side also has a snow cap.
The roofs behind that tower are snowy, too.
There is another cap on a roof to the left.
One last tower in the back left of the castle has patches of snow.
