The Whos down in Whoville have been busy decking the halls, as holiday decorations have begun to arrive at Seuss Landing at Universal’s Islands of Adventure. Let’s take a look at the ribbons and wrapping, the trimmings, the trappings!
Holiday Decorations Arriving at Seuss Landing
During a recent stroll around Seuss Landing, we spotted plenty of hints that the holidays will soon be underway in this area. This sign for Seuss Landing has had its curves filled with garland bedecked in colorful gaudy baubles.
This directional sign has been wrapped in purple tinsel. The archway to the right has also received garland and a wreath with a variety of ornaments nestled throughout.
Boxes in the foreground of this image have been put in place, carting this tree with berries and stars among its boughs.
These first signs of the holidays bring some festive cheer to the already colorful land.
The partial entrance arch for the land has also been wrapped up in green garland covered in ornaments. Part of the arch collapsed in December 2021, and has yet to be repaired.
This lamppost has been wrapped and topped with a blue ribbon.
Though these colorful boxes are mostly empty, they appear each year with the decorative trees.
Though some pieces come out in waves, with Team Members decorating and assembling displays onto poles and lampposts, other pieces come to the area fully completed, like this tree that has been fully trimmed in a variety of holiday details.
If “a person’s a person, no matter how small,” a tree is also a tree, no matter how small. Look at this pint-size pine that has arrived to make spirits bright!
Most of this area hasn’t been decorated, but you can see the tree boxes have arrived to bring the merriment to the area outside of The High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride.
We did see that the bases of each of these supports for The High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride are wrapped in green garland and colorful tinsel.
The holiday decorations on this bridge to Seuss Landing add to the festive atmosphere.
The colorful snowflakes interspersed with the snowflake-painted ornaments match the ribbons on the garland.
The ribbons are attached at each anchor for this display.
This tree has also started to show its holiday spirit.
These colorful ornaments dangle among these whimsical tree branches.
Even young Gerald McGrew has gotten a jump start on his holiday decorations.
