If you’re visiting Universal Studios Florida and looking for a bite to eat, there are quite a few options to choose from. There are multiple quick service locations in the park, but before you stop to eat, let us give you our ranking of every quick service restaurant in Universal Studios Florida. We’ll start off with the very worst of the restaurants at Universal Studios Florida and work our way to number one.
8. Richter’s Burger Co.
Much like an earthquake, this restaurant is a natural disaster. It’s appropriately fitting that it’s close to one of the worst rides in the park, too. If you have family, spare them and take them anywhere else on property besides Richter’s Burger Co. The burgers and fries leave a lot to be desired here.
7. KidZone Pizza Company
KidZone might be gone, but the KidZone Pizza Company lives on. This location isn’t open too often, so you probably won’t end up here unless you visit during an extremely busy time. The pizza here is mediocre and forgettable, so if you do see this open during the day, we suggest you keep walking by.
6. Louie’s Italian Restaurant
Louie’s Italian Restaurant offers quick service pizza and pasta options and even has a gelato window. The pizza here is actually pretty good, the slices are huge, and we absolutely love the gelato options.
5. Mel’s Drive-In
There’s no denying that Mel’s Drive-In is an icon at Universal Studios Florida. The beautiful building, retro theme, and neon lights make the perfect backdrop for your park photos. During Halloween Horror Nights, Mel’s Drive-In even turns into Mel’s Die-In. The food, however, might make you also want to die-in. The meals have been hit or miss in our experience, but when it’s good, it’s good.
4. Fast Food Boulevard
Fast Food Boulevard in Springfield offers tons of seating and the widest variety of food. This is almost like a food court, with several different places to order from. There’s a little something for everyone, from healthy options to burgers. There’s also chicken, pizza, and fish. You can even get a Duff Beer or a Flaming Moe.
3. Leaky Cauldron
The Leaky Cauldron in Diagon Alley is a fantastic spot to grab a meal, even if you’re not a Harry Potter fan. The restaurant is highly-themed and the ideal dining location for a witch or wizard. This is one of the few locations that opens early, and you can even get Butterbeer with your breakfast. There are traditional English and American breakfast options on the menu for the morning. After breakfast, you’ll find hearty meals like Fish and Chips, Bangers and Mash, and Cottage Pie.
2. TODAY Cafe
TODAY Cafe is located at the front of Universal Studios Florida and offers breakfast, snacks, sandwiches, and more. There are plenty of healthy options to choose from, and everything here is delicious. You’ll be able to find pastries, sandwiches, and seasonal flatbreads on the menu. They even have mimosas! You can’t go wrong with a trip to TODAY Cafe.
1. Minion Cafe
Coming in at number one, Minion Cafe! The newest restaurant to open at Universal Studios Florida gets our top spot for the best restaurant in the park. Minion Cafe has a nice variety of options that aren’t your typical burgers, chicken tenders, and fries. From Mel’s Meatball Mountain to Agnes’ Honeymoon Soup, the food from Minion Cafe is delicious. Do not skip the Minion tots! You can take a look around the restaurant here and read our full review of the entire menu in our post here.
