4 Reasons To Visit Blizzard Beach in Disney World BEFORE December 31st

With the holiday season in full swing, there is a lot coming to the parks to celebrate!

There have been lots of tasty treats and fun, festive offerings at the theme parks and hotels this year, but that’s not all. We’re also getting some fun holiday offerings at the water parks. Blizzard Beach announced some of the fun things going on and we just NEED to share them with y’all.

When we think of the holidays at Walt Disney World, their water parks generally aren’t the first thing to come to mind. That is something we’re going to try to change because WOW — the water parks have some fun things going on this year!

Let’s go to Blizzard Beach!

One of the most important things about the holiday season is meeting the big man in red, Santa himself! How are you going to get what you want for Christmas without giving him your list?!

You can catch him in his tropical best at Blizzard Beach from the park’s opening time to 12:30PM each day leading up until Christmas. December 24th is the last day to meet him since he’ll have a long night ahead.

After you give Santa your wish list (phew), gather the family and let the scavenger hunt begin! You can pick up your maps at the Lost Children Hut this year. This holiday-themed scavenger hunt has two maps available for you — one through Ski Patrol Training Camp and the other through Tike’s Peak.

You can complete this scavenger hunt every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday starting now and running through December 21st. After December 21st, it’s available EVERY DAY from December 22nd through the 31st, 2023.

Who’s ready for a sleigh ride?

We can’t have holiday festivities without decorating gingerbread cookies! You can pick up a gingerbread cookie decorating kit from Lottawatta Lodge for $10.99. The kit comes with two cookies, icing, sprinkles, and other decorations for you to use.
