The World of Frozen in Hong Kong Disneyland is opening in just a few short days!
Arendelle Village
This fully immersive new land boasts two distinct areas, authentic Norwegian food, and fun interactions with the characters from Frozen. There are also two new rides: Frozen Ever After and Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs. You’re probably familiar with Frozen Ever After if you’ve ever been to EPCOT, but Wandering Oaken’s is an all-new Disney ride and we got to ride it! Let’s check it out!
Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs is a family-friendly rollercoaster located in the Arendelle Forest. The idea is that you’re visiting Oaken’s shop to do a bit of shopping and there’s a big summer blowout (of course)!

You get to see things like Oaken’s desk (which he seems to have left unattended).
Wandering Oaken’s shop
Then you learn he’s not able to help you shop because he’s busy hanging out in the sauna keeping warm!

You continue through the line, seeing lots of different village artifacts or things Oaken has built for Kristoff like this troll totem pole.

Then you finally make it to Olaf and Sven who are ready to take you for a ride!

You jump into your sleigh and away you go!
These are some pretty cool sleighs!
The ride feels very similar to Seven Dwarfs Mine Train in that it’s VERY smooth. It is all outside other than where you get on and off the ride. You can also spot some ‘little’ details while you’re whipping around the curves!
Did you spot Bruni?
While this ride is lots of fun, we do want to mention that it is a very short ride, not even lasting a full minute. We recommend riding it, but just knowing that ahead of time can help with your expectations.
You get back in less than a minute
It’s a very fun ride that is super cute and has lots of fun details, so we suggest catching these sleighs down the mountain!
