We’ve got some FANTASTIC (or should we say…Fantasmic!) news.

As you may know, Disneyland’s beloved Fantasmic! show has been closed for a LONG time. In fact, the show abruptly ended way back in April after the Maleficent dragon caught fire mid-show. We’ve been waiting for an official reopening date for a while now, and the time has finally arrived! Yep — Fantasmic! has a reopening date.

Disney announced that Fantasmic! will reopen on May 24th, 2024!

Disney still hasn’t shared any further details about the return of Fantasmic!, so we’ll have to wait and see how the show may change when it arrives.  In the meantime, clear your schedule for May 24th!

Currently, Disneyland guests can check out Queenie and the Jambalaya Jazz Band, a lively band of performers who perform evening shows on a river barge in New Orleans Square. Additionally, you can catch The Heartbeat of New Orleans — A Living Mural between the Jambalaya Jazz Band sets on the Rivers of America. These fun shows won’t be around forever, so be sure to check them out before Fantasmic! returns.
