If you’ve been to Disney World over the past decade, you’ll know how important the My Disney Experience app and website are when it comes to planning your vacation.

Over the years, the app has allowed you to do a LOT of useful things at Disney World. It can act as your park ticket, as well as your hotel room key. It lets you know what ride wait times are. It gives you park hours and other useful information. You can purchase Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lane selections. You can even book advance dining reservations through the app. Well, something NEW has come to the website that’s going to make it even easier to use.

If you’ve ever traveled with family and friends, you might have struggled to get everyone linked up in the app so that you’re all on the same page when it comes to dining, Genie+, and more. Well, Disney World just made that a LOT easier. When you want to add Friends and Family (which you can access through the “My Family & Friends” feature on the website), you now have an easier way to find them.

You can now search for someone by their name, phone number, and email address — as long as they have chosen to make themselves searchable. Just click “Allow” when asked if you’d like to allow others to find you.

There’s even a “Guests You May Know” feature that has a list of those who have shared their Family & Friends list with someone you know. This shortcut may save a lot of the hassle of searching manually!

You can also find a guest from a Disney World hotel reservation and add a guest who does not have a Disney account (although it’s way easier to add those with an existing account).

So, if you need to make sure all the right accounts are linked to ensure you all have access to the same dining reservations, Genie+, Individual Lightning Lane selections, and more, you’ve got a new way to link accounts.
