Some of the Spaceship Earth-style panels on one exterior wall of CommuniCore Hall in EPCOT have some new accent colors.
Spaceship Earth-Style Paneling
Crews began installing these silver triangular panels inspired by the Alucobond panels on Spaceship Earth in early October. Some of the panels are now green and blue, adding further dimension to the wall.
The paneling is over one entrance to the future hall — possibly where the Mickey & Friends meet and greet location will be.
Concept art (below) suggests even more color will be added to the panels.
Crews have also recently installed glass on CommuniCore Hall, which is set to open in December with the rest of World Celebration.
CommuniCore Hall will house a gallery, demo kitchen, and mixology bar to be used during various EPCOT festivals.
CommuniCore Hall and Plaza replace the originally planned festival center. They are named after the opening-day CommuniCore Pavilions that later became Innoventions.
