Pixar Plaza at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is celebrating the holidays with two new murals. One seems to be a permanent update to the Frozone meet and greet background, while the other sends seasons greetings from Municiberg.
Frozone Background
Frozone moved to a new meet and greet location in August, just a few months after Pixar Plaza reopened. At the time, his background was generic colorful circles.
Frozone now has a themed background on the brick walls around him. This background is made of overlapping triangles in different shades of blue, plus white snowflakes. While the background is perfect for the winter, it also represents Frozone’s ice powers, so it could stick around permanently.
Municiberg Mural
The mural is on the brick wall near the start of Pixar Plaza, where an “Elemental” photo op was for a few months. The “Elemental” mural was removed a few weeks ago and the space was filled with tables and chairs.
Most of the seating has been removed to make room for guests to take photos in front of the mural.
There are red bursts on the ground reading “Stand here!” where guests should stand for the best photos.
The mural depicts Municiberg, the city from “The Incredibles,” with snow-covered rooftops and Christmas lights. A billboard reads, “Seasons greetings from Municiberg.”
