The Christmas and winter holiday celebrations are almost here at Walt Disney World, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom is decked out with more decor, including the giant tree at the entrance.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Christmas Tree
The giant tree at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is located outside of the park entrance. It’s surrounded by a fence to prevent guests from getting too close.
The tree is adorned with handmade-style ornaments, stars, and snowflakes.
Many of the decorations are animal and nature-themed ornaments, mixed in with more traditional holiday iconography like ribbons and bulbs.
Under the tree is collection of toys themed to Disney characters, including characters from Winnie the Pooh.
A “snowglobe” resembling a stump features Chip ‘n Dale.
The tree is lit at dusk.
More DinoLand Decor
The dinosaur skeleton has a Santa hat and beard.
Trees have been added to the meet and greet areas.
A large tinsel Snowman is between the snack cart and Donald’s Dino-Bash.
Daisy’s meet and greet area has trees, wreaths, and garland.
Chip ‘n Dale’s spot is also looking holly and jolly.
You might even spot the Reindeer-osaurus.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be home to a Santa sighting as well as the beloved Merry Menagerie this holiday season, which begins on November 11.
Merry Menagerie is a roaming puppet show that will return to Disney’s Animal Kingdom for the 2023 holiday season.
