The humans of Pandora have decorated for the Earth holiday season. As we’ve seen in years past, decorations now adorn Pongu Pongu and the AMP suit in front of the kiosk at Pandora – The World of Avatar in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Pandora – The World of Avatar Holiday Decorations
The mechanical suit is wearing a red Santa hat.
It’s draped with colorful Christmas string lights.
It has a white Santa beard made out of ropes.
Ropes leading from the Pongu Pongu roof to the suit are adorned with ornaments like a metal Christmas tree.
There are also wreaths and animal figures, seemingly made out of the natural materials of Pandora.
The figures depict animals native to Pandora, like the banshees / ikrans.
This figure represents a direhorse.
A human nutcracker and a larger Na’vi nutcracker are displayed next to the Pongu Pongu sign.
A menorah is atop a nearby radio.
A Santa Claus doll is attached to the building, along with other baubles and ornaments.
One ornament is for the Pandora Conservation Initiative. There is also one for ACE (Alpha Centauri Expeditions).
The ornaments hang from more Christmas lights.
A new cinnamon roll debuted at Pongu Pongu last month. Read our review.
The Disney’s Animal Kingdom Christmas tree and more holiday decorations are up at the park. Disney’s Animal Kingdom hours were extended for the week of Thanksgiving this month. Soon, the park will host Merry Menagerie, a wintry roaming puppet show on Discovery Island.
