Halloween has passed us by and the holidays are already in full swing. Disneyland Resort has been gearing up for the most merry time of year with plenty of holiday decorations over the past couple of weeks, and we snapped a few photos during our regular visits to the park to document it all.
Disneyland Park
Main Street, U.S.A.
Every day it seems as though more and more decorations are added throughout the park.
On Main Street, U.S.A., each of the buildings that line the street are themselves lined with festive green garlands full of red and silver baubles.
The Emporium is accented with not only garlands at its entrances, but small boughs of greenery and ornaments toward its roof.
As we mentioned above, garlands with red ribbons are hung above each of the location’s entrances.
The decorations appear to be the same across all the buildings to create a cohesive look.
Frontierland
Pioneer Mercantile in Frontierland is fully decked out in green garlands with bright red bows.
The Bonanza Outfitters façade continues this theme with garlands hanging from the porch awning and from its roof.
Frontierland Shootin’ Exposition still has its American-style décor up in addition to the holiday look.
Decorations have also gone up at The Golden Horseshoe, with garlands up above the entrance and wrapped around nearby lampposts.
Even the Frontierland sign has gotten a bit of greenery for the holidays.
The land really transforms at night, as lights woven throughout the garlands bring a warm glow.
The lights bring a cozy, festive atmosphere to the land.
New Orleans Square
We previously reported that the classic Santa Moons had been added to the trees in New Orleans Square, but now it seems that holiday decorating in this land is complete.
At night, however, new life comes to this land.
Here, the lights in the garlands aren’t just a warm gold, but also blue and green.
The balconies are wrapped in lights, garland, and baubles in Mardi Gras and holiday colors.
Critter Country
Garlands of greenery and ribbons in shades of red and yellow can be found in select areas of Critter Country.
No doubt more décor will be added in the days to come.
The garland above the sign for Hungry Bear Restaurant is full of multicolored baubles and pine cones for a woodsy touch.
The same goes for the garland and decor at The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
At Pooh’s Corner, it looks like small “hunny” pots are included in the décor.
Mickey’s Toontown
While on a nighttime stroll through Mickey’s Toontown, we got to appreciate the holiday lighting woven throughout the decorations.
Benny the Cab is even getting in the holiday spirit.
Disney California Adventure
Buena Vista Street
Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure is transforming for the holiday season, as garlands and red bows are everywhere.
Each lampost is wrapped in greenery and topped with two red bows.
Entrances to merchandise locations and more are draped with decorations.
Some garlands are adorned with red and gold bells.
The merchandise shop windows also got updated displays for the holiday season.
San Fransokyo Square
This is the first holiday season for San Fransokyo Square, and the holiday decorations do not disappoint. This garland is not only full of ornaments, but of bread — purely decorative loaves, of course.
Here hangs a yellow-white garland instead of the usual green, with more bright colors.
In addition to the Baymax lanterns hanging overhead, strands of holiday lights also hang up above guests’ heads.
This garland is red and includes gold bows and take-out boxes.
Paradise Gardens Park
We also spotted a bit of holiday decor over by The Little Mermaid – Ariel’s Undersea Adventure in Paradise Gardens Park.
Downtown Disney District
World of Disney
In Downtown Disney District, World of Disney has also begun decorating for the holiday season.
The décor is mostly garlands, but there are a few Christmas trees throughout the store.
This sign features art from the Classics Christmas merchandise collection, and a red ribbon reads, “The Merriest Place on Earth.” Dumbo, Tinker Bell, and Peter Pan are depicted helping to hang wreaths overhead.
The holiday season officially kicks off on November 10, 2023 at Disneyland Resort, and runs through January 7, 2024.
