After several long years of construction, the EPCOT transformation is nearly complete!

We’ve seen several new additions over the past few years, from Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and Space 220 to Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and Creations Shop. But soon, the World Celebration section of the park will be fully open again. And along with that reopening comes a brand-new feature!
One of the most anticipated parts of the transformation is the unveiling of a NEW Walt Disney statue. The statue will reside in a new location behind Spaceship Earth called Dreamers Point. We’ve seen sneak peeks of the statue before…

…but now we can actually see it in its home location! During a ride on the Monorail, we spotted the Walt statue ready to greet guests once the construction walls come down.
It’s there!
It’s officially being unveiled on December 5th, the same day as the new nighttime show Luminous premieres at EPCOT. We can’t wait to see all the park’s changes!
