REVIEW: All I Want for Christmas Is More of This New Disney World Treat

There is NOTHING more magical than Disney World during the holidays.

From the beautiful holiday decorations to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Jollywood Nights to all the holiday snacks, Disney World goes ALL out for the festive season. Speaking of snacks, we’re headed to EPCOT‘s Germany Pavilion to try out some new holiday-flavored caramels. Yep, we’re going back to Karamell-Küche (like we need an excuse to go there).

You can’t even walk by Karamell-Küche without smelling caramel, so that’s what we’re picking up today. The Caramel Flight for $7.49 just got a holiday makeover, so now you can get four caramels with holiday flavors: eggnog, cranberry, snickerdoodle, and gingerbread. YUM.

So, how do these new flavors stack up? The Eggnog square tastes JUST like actual eggnog, and the flavor is so creamy with the caramel. However, that flavor is strong, and if you don’t like that weird, almost bubblegum-like flavor, you probably won’t like this caramel square.

The Snickerdoodle square has that sugar and cinnamon goodness associated with the Snickerdoodle cookie. The texture of the caramel almost makes it like biting into Snickerdoodle cookie dough — and we’re not mad about it.

The Cranberry square has actual cranberries in it, so you get a fruity cranberry flavor mixed with caramel. However, you only get that flavor if you take a bite that has actual cranberries in it.

The Gingerbread square tastes like gingerbread, but the flavor is taken up a notch by the gingerbread crumbs sprinkled on top. If you love gingerbread, you’ll HAVE to try this caramel.

Overall, these flavors certainly make us feel like it’s the holidays, but we will note that each caramel is VERY sweet, not that we minded. Take time to savor these, though, because they are a special treat.
