REVIEW: Disney World’s NEW Treat Made Me Feel Like a Kid Again

The holidays have arrived in Disney World, and it’s no secret that one of our favorite parts about the season is trying all of the new festive treats.

Disney’s All-Star Music Resort

We’ve tried all kinds of new snacks, from a Peppermint Éclair to a Red Velvet Whoopie Pie, not to mention all of the fun party exclusives we had at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. If you think all of the good treats to be had are inside the theme parks, though, think again! We’ve found some of our favorite holiday eats at hotels around Disney World, so I stopped by Disney’s All-Star Resorts to check out one of their new holiday desserts.

Over at Intermission Food Court in Disney’s All-Star Music, we picked up the Minnie Gingerbread Bundt Cake for $5.99.

Minnie Bundt Cake

This is a Gingerbread Bundt Cake with cream cheese icing in the middle, and it’s topped with Christmas lights decor, green frosting, and Minnie Mouse white chocolate decor.

I thought this was soft and had great Christmas flavors. The gingerbread was “spicy” without being over the top and the cream cheese icing was creamy and rich with a fair amount of cream cheese tanginess.

I also really liked the sugar Christmas lights decor — they reminded me of the embellishments I used to get on my birthday cake as a kid. They were quite crunchy, however, so they might not be for everyone! For the price, I thought this was a great treat for someone who loves gingerbread. However, with all of the icing and frosting, it is on the sweet side so keep that in mind if you’re looking for something a little bit lighter.
