Holidays in the parks mean holiday food!

Over in Disneyland, the decorations are up and the festive eats are out in full flavor! We spotted a new holiday sandwich (with a bit of a Toy Story reference) while visiting the park the other day and thought we’d share it with you.

Over in Tomorrowland in Disneyland Park, you can stop by Galactic Grill to pick up some out-of-this-world meals. Now, there’s an all-new (hyperactive) Hyperdrive Holidays Sandwich!

This is a fried Chicken Sandwich with cranberry-orange marmalade BBQ Sauce, provolone, onion rings, and arugula on a toasted brioche bun. It is served with french fries or oranges. You can get the meal for $13.79!

Upon the first bite, we enjoyed the new sandwich. The crispy chicken had a fantastic, audible crunch and a slightly peppery taste. It wasn’t too dry or too juicy, a pretty Goldilocks piece of chicken. We noticed there were hints of the sweet and tangy orange and cranberry flavors but definitely not overpowering. It still had a good BBQ flavor. Our least favorite part of the sandwich was the onion rings. They seemed to be really hard and didn’t add much flavor. Other than the rings, we really enjoyed it!

The fries that come with it are just regular quick-service fries. If you’re not one to try different holiday flavors like cranberry orange marmalade then this might not be the meal for you. But if you enjoy trying new flavors, we suggest giving it a try!
