We headed to Universal Studios Florida to try the new El Macho Nacho Hat snack option at Illumination’s Minion Cafe Pickup Window.
El Macho Nacho Hat — $8.99
Crispy tortilla chips served with house-made guacamole inside of El Macho’s signature sombrero
Inspired by a snack found at the Mexican restaurant owned by Eduardo Pérez aka El Macho in “Despicable Me 2,” this dish is available at the Minion Cafe Mobile Pickup Window in Minion Land.
We found this snack to be surprisingly delicious! The house-made guacamole tasted fresh and the chips were perfectly salty.
There is plenty of guacamole for the amount of chips given, and the $8.99 price tag isn’t too steep for a plate of chips and guac.
Best of all, the sombrero design of the bowl makes it really easy to eat on the go, so you can snack while walking to your next destination or waiting in line for a ride. The “Despicable Me 2” theming made the treat not only delicious, but also fun to eat.
