REVIEW: This Jollywood Nights Treat Just Broke Our Hearts a Little

The holidays have taken OVER Disney World, especially at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

The decorations are up, the holiday merchandise is out, and the first Jollywood Nights party has finally happened. This is an all-new special ticketed event in Disney World, and we were so excited to check it out. However, we were even MORE excited to check out all the FOOD at Jollywood Nights. So now we’re taking on some drinks!

There are two exclusive drinks at Jollywood Nights that you can get at bars throughout Hollywood Studios. We stopped by Oasis Canteen to check them out. The first is the Zero-Proof Gingerbread Spritzer for $7.49, which is made with Lyre’s Spiced Cane Spirit, gingerbread syrup, and club soda garnished with a gingerbread bite. The first thing you taste with this drink is the club soda, but then that gingerbread flavor really comes through.

This drink also had just the right amount of sweetness from the syrup. We were actually surprised that we LOVED this drink so much. This is what Christmas tastes like, y’all, and we are here for it!

However, we can’t say the same about the Sugar Cookie Martini for $11, made with Stoli Vanil Vodka, Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur, and DISARONNO Originale Liqueur mixed with milk and sugar in a sprinkle-rimmed glass with a sugar cookie garnish. This drink didn’t have a lot of flavor and was just kinda…milky. What a heartbreaker — we had high hopes for this drink!

This is certainly a dessert drink, and it did taste like a sugar cookie, but not a really good one. We didn’t even taste the alcohol in it. We’ll say skip this bland drink and opt for something else instead.
