While Magic Kingdom is full of iconic Disney food, sometimes it can be hard to find a quality meal that won’t weigh you down.

We love Cheeseburger Spring Rolls, Disney fries, and the Nutella and Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich, but sometimes we just need something a little more substantial. One of our favorite places to get such a meal is at Columbia Harbour House, where you can find great options for seafood fans and landlubbers alike. Recently, they added a new entree to the menu, so I stopped by to check it out — come see how it went!

From now until December 31st, you can find the Maple-Mustard Glazed Salmon, which comes with your choice of two sides, at Columbia Harbour House for $14.79. This spot usually has a classic Grilled Salmon, but now there is a festive version sauced up for the holidays!

I really loved this! The salmon is fresh and tender, and while I would have preferred it to have been cooked just a tad less, it’s honestly very good quality for a theme park restaurant.

On top, the sauce was sweet, tangy, and delicious. You could taste both the maple and the mustard well, and I loved the texture of the whole-grain mustard. My only complaint was that I just wanted more of it.

This dish comes with your choice of two sides, with the option to get french fries, green beans, rice, or hush puppies. I went for the green beans and hush puppies and was pretty impressed. The green beans were very fresh and cooked perfectly with a bit of a bite left in them. They are a tad on the bland side, but adding a bit of salt would make them a pretty great option.

You can’t go wrong with Columbia Harbour House’s hush puppies. They are perfectly fried, golden-brown, with a nice crispy exterior.

They also have a sweet, fluffy inside, and chunks of corn throughout that was really nice.

We’ve been fans of the seafood here for a while now, and have loved the normal Grilled Salmon in the past, but this was a great take on a classic dish.
