Animal goofing off in Muppet*Vision 3D
From hidden gems hiding in the theming of PizzeRizzo to character Cast Member plushes that goof around in Muppet*Vision 3D, there are a ton of things to enjoy in this corner of Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Lately, Disney has been giving us all kinds of Muppet love. The iconic Miss Piggy fountain has been restored, Kermit merchandise is popping up all over the parks and online, and Muppet Labs have even made their way to the 2023 EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival. Now, a classic attraction on Grand Avenue got an upgrade — come take a look!
Muppet*Vision 3D, a collaboration between Jim Henson Productions and Walt Disney Imagineering, opened in 1991, giving visitors an opportunity to watch these zany characters show off their new movie-making invention in 3D.

Recently, Disney has been updating the theater with some new seating. We stopped by this week to check out the new upgrades, which are pretty nice!

They are red, like before, but shiny and new.
New seats!
Previously, the chairs were red but were looking a little dated. The new chairs are made with a pleather-like upholstery, so it seems like these might be easier to upkeep than the old cloth ones.

They were pretty comfortable and gave the theater a fun facelift. We’re excited to see the Muppets getting some well-deserved attention.
