We’re Singing the Praises of a Belt Buckle in Disney World and No, We’re Not Joking

We’re back with more Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party treat reviews, DFB readers!

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2023

Tonight we’re live from the first night of the event [LINK] and are trying out all the new party-exclusive snacks being introduced this year. We headed over to Sunshine Tree Terrace to try the TWO new treats they have available!

This first treat is only available during the party, so if you want to snag it, you’ll want to grab it closer to the beginning of the night so they don’t sell out! The first snack is Santa’s Belt Buckle made of pistachio mousse with a dark chocolate truffle center and a chocolate buckle for $5.49.

We were surprised by how much we liked this! It was absolutely incredible and possibly one of the best desserts we had all night. It was light and airy and leaned heavily on the pistachio flavor. We didn’t find it to be overly sweet but the chocolate in the middle did give it a nice sweetness. The shortbread gave the dessert a buttery flavor and a nice texture too. We wish we had ordered more!

You can also grab the non-alcoholic Cranberry Citrus Float with Orange-Vanilla Soft-serve Twist, which is an orange-vanilla soft-serve twist with Sprite Winter Spiced Cranberry and fruity boba pearls for $6.29. This one is available during regular park hours as well!

We enjoyed this, but it tasted like a regular Citrus Swirl to us — which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, we just didn’t get that cranberry flavor we were hoping for! If you’re after something super cranberry-heavy, this isn’t it, But, it’s still a great treat and is quite pretty to look at!

It was alright!
