Disneyland has a full slate of refurbishments, returning attractions, and new offerings coming in 2024 that will enhance the guest experience across the resort. Here’s a breakdown of what to expect in each land and park:
Main Street U.S.A.
- Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln will close for refurbishment from August 14th through September 27th.
- Main Street Cinema will be closed for refurbishment from July 5th through July 20th.
- No other refurbishments have been announced yet for Main Street U.S.A. in 2024.
Fantasyland
- Alice in Wonderland will close from July 5th through July 20th for refurbishment.
- Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride will close from July 24th through August 11th for refurbishment.
Tomorrowland
- Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage will be closed from January 8th through an unannounced date for refurbishment.
- Space Mountain will be closed for a lengthy refurbishment from September 18th, 2023 through October 26th, 2023.
Frontierland
- No Frontierland refurbishments have been announced for 2024 as of yet.
New Orleans Square
- No New Orleans Square refurbishments currently scheduled for 2024.
Critter Country
- Splash Mountain closed permanently on May 31st, 2023 and will reopen as Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in late 2024.
Mickey’s Toontown
- No scheduled refurbishments for Mickey’s Toontown in 2024 at this time.
Disneyland Park Attractions
- Sailing Ship Columbia will be closed from January 8th through January 11th for refurbishment.
- Indiana Jones Adventure is scheduled to be closed November 27th through December 1st for routine maintenance.
- Incredicoaster in Disney’s California Adventure will be closed November 27th through December 1st as well.
Returning Favorites
Several fan-favorite attractions and entertainment offerings will return in 2024 after closures and cancellations:
- Fantasmic! nighttime spectacular will return on May 24, 2024 after an extended closure.
- Mark Twain Riverboat will return at an unannounced date after being closed for refurbishment in late 2023.
- World of Color nighttime show will return on March 1, 2024 after a seasonal refurbishment beginning January 8th.
New Additions
Disneyland will welcome new characters and experiences in 2024:
- Red Panda Mei from Turning Red will lead a new daytime parade.
- Wade and Ember from Elemental will make their Disneyland debut.
- The Peter Pan scene will return to Fantasmic!
