EPCOT Has a NEW Park Map and It’s Got Some MASSIVE Changes!

It’s a very big day!

Walt the Dreamer Statue

December 5th marks Walt Disney’s birthday, and in honor of the man who started it all, Disney chose the day to officially open a NEW area of EPCOT. The World Celebration Gardens and Walt the Dreamer Statue are two brand new additions to the park — part of the transformation that has been in progress for the past few years. Now, the area is officially open to guests, and of course — there’s a new park map to feature the new areas.

Say hello to EPCOT’s new park map!

The front of the map features the Figment character that you’re now able to meet in the Imagination Pavilion.

The new park map!

When you open the pamphlet, you’ll be greeted with not only a visual map of the entire park, but with a bulleted, color-coded list of each of the rides, attractions, stores, and restaurants you’ll be able to visit — just like always.

Here it is!

What’s new, though, is that the visual map now features the World Celebration Gardens, which is the circular area that you see right above Spaceship Earth.

Look!

Before, the area just said “World Celebration” and was green. See it below:

Not only is the new area now represented on the map, there are new experiences listed as well. Below, you’ll see a section of the map that’s dedicated ONLY to “New Magic,” and you’ll see the Luminous: The Symphony of Us nighttime spectacular as well as Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana.

New events!

Wow! Things are feeling officially official! We can’t wait to see what else is in store! We’ll continue to keep you updated with all things Disney news, so make sure to follow along so that you never miss a thing.
