Bookings are open for Universal Stella Nova Resort and Universal Terra Luna Resort, both of which are scheduled to open near Epic Universe in 2025. The names and opening dates for these new hotels were revealed last month and now we have a few more details to share.
The new hotels are currently under construction, but the official Loews Hotels website gives us our first look at the rooms and amenities for both Universal Stella Nova Resort and Universal Terra Luna Resorts. At least for now, the only room styles listed for each resort are standard and pool view with two queen beds, as well as accessible rooms.
Universal Stella Nova Resort
The rooms of Universal Stella Nova Resort are described as having “sleek curves and subtle colors” that “inspire thoughts of sailing through the galaxies.” A picture shows beds with plain white linens and orange cylindrical pillows. Above the beds is a galaxy mural lined with a soft light.
The most eye-catching detail is the window with a curved frame. The rooms will be “rich in blues and purples” with “tasteful flooring.” They are 315 square feet and sleep up to four. Loews notes there will be plenty of storage for luggage.
An image of the bathroom shows blue, white, and peach-colored walls with a white vanity, toilet, and bath. A rectangular mirror above the vanity has rounded corners and is backlit. A door will separate the toilet and shower area from the vanity.
These amenities will be available in the rooms:
- Air conditioning
- Free WiFi
- Iron
- Hair dryer
- Safe
- Smoke free
- Flat screen TV
- Coffee maker
- Mini fridge
According to the website, Universal Stella Nova Resort will open on January 21, 2025. When looking to book a stay from February 25, 2025 through February 28, 2025, Stella Nova is available with rates starting at $168 per night. For a single night’s stay from February 25-26, 2025, rates start at $210.
Universal Terra Luna Resort
The rooms of Terra Luna Resort are described similarly “with sweeping curves, terrestrial tones, and an eye-catching, spaceship-styled window” to “inspire thoughts of exploring new worlds.” The most obvious difference between the Stella Nova and Terra Luna room images is that Terra Luna has dark blue or purple cylindrical pillows instead of orange. The galaxy mural above the beds is also different.
The colors in the layout rendering look more green and purple than blue.
The Terra Luna rooms offer the same amenities and are the same size as the Stella Nova rooms. The same bathroom picture was used for both resorts, too. Both of these resorts look very similar in many ways, but they will have slightly different color schemes and themes.
Universal Terra Luna Resort will open on February 25, 2025. Booking a stay for the same date range as Stella Nova, Terra Luna is also available starting at $168 per night. A single night’s stay from February 25-26, 2025 starts at $210 per night.
Loews Hotels lists both as three-star accommodations — the same rating as Universal’s Aventura Hotel and Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort.
Both Universal Stella Nova Resort and Universal Terra Luna Resort will be located adjacent to the future Universal Epic Universe theme park, which will open in summer 2025. Guests staying at these hotels will be able to access the rest of Universal Orlando Resort via complimentary shuttles.
