Tokyo Disney Resort has announced the second installment of “Disney Story Beyond,” a Haunted Mansion experience that first launched in early 2023, expanding on the attraction’s backstory.

This second installment of “Disney Story Beyond,” titled “Entrusted Fate,” will take place from February 7 to April 30, 2024, but previews of the story will be shared on the Tokyo Disney Resort website before then.
In 2023, guests could participate in “Disney Story Beyond” by purchasing a mystery-solving guide and going on a scavenger hunt throughout the park. An AR photo op and exclusive merchandise was also available. Judging by the preview image, this next iteration will also include merchandise, as well as a specialty drink.
The teaser video prominently features a raven and the characters of Xavier and ZJ, who work at the Haunted Mansion. Watch the teaser for “Disney Story Beyond: Entrusted Fate” below.
The original Haunted Mansion opened at Disneyland in 1969. A second version was an opening day attraction at Walt Disney World in 1971. A clone of that version was then an opening day attraction at Tokyo Disneyland in 1983. The ride serves as inspiration for Phantom Manor at Disneyland Paris and Mystic Manor at Hong Kong Disneyland.
