I Stayed in the Cheapest Hotel Room in Disney World. Here’s What It Looks Like.

There are a LOT of hotel rooms in Disney World. And by a lot, we mean over 30,000!

All-Star Movies Resort

With so many choices, how do you know where to stay? Sometimes it comes down to whichever hotel has the best theme, restaurants, or activities. But more often than not, it comes down to price. And that’s why we’re taking you on a tour of the CHEAPEST hotel room in Disney World.

The cheapest rooms available at a Disney-owned hotel are the standard rooms at any of the three All-Star Resorts. At their lowest price in 2024, the standard rooms are available for $117 a night.

Standard Room

Each of these rooms sleeps up to four adults with either one king bed or one queen, and one murphy bed-style queen. The room we stayed in was a double queen at All-Star Movies Resort, and when the second bed is tucked away, there’s actually a decent amount of space.

Lowered Murphy Bed

These rooms were renovated in the past few years and feature a Mickey and Friends theme. You’ll notice it in the artwork and the little touches around the room.

When the murphy bed is folded up, it turns into a dining table. The table comes with two chairs that will need to be moved when it’s time to turn down for the night.

Closed Murphy Bed

Each room has a window, but these standard rooms often come with a parking lot view or a view of one of the less-exciting areas of the resort. The doors are exterior entry, which means you’ll be coming in off a breezeway.

Closed Curtain

There’s a small coffee bar in the room with a single-cup coffee maker. The one in our room was Cuisinart brand.

And of course, Disney supplies a drawer with some basic coffee essentials. There are packs for hot coffee, hot tea, creamer, sugar, and more.

Coffee, Teas, etc.

Each room also comes equipped with a mini fridge. There’s room to store some snacks and maybe some leftovers in here, but not too many items. If you’re bringing more things that need refrigeration, we suggest a cooler.

The dresser comes with several drawers for clothes storage, and there’s a TV in each room. You can watch regular channels or check out the Disney information channels with things like park hours and weather updates.

Next to the beds, there are side tables with light switches and outlet space. Each outlet has regular plugs as well as USB spots. One of the side tables will also be home to your room’s phone.

If you’re traveling with a bigger party, you can request adjoining rooms. If not, you can keep the door locked at all times. There’s a door on each side, so both rooms would need to open them for access between.

Standard Room

Heading into the bathroom, there’s a small space for hanging clothes with a few hangers available. There are also several storage shelves with things like an iron, a hair dryer, and extra toilet paper.

Bathroom

The sink area comes stocked with bar soap and towels for the room. There’s not as much counter space in here as a more expensive room, but there’s still ample storage.

A pocket door separates the toilet and shower from the sink area. There are towel rods in the bathroom for showering.

And each shower is equipped with an adjustable showerhead and a clothesline for those wet swimsuits!

Last but not least, we’ve got the most important feature — an adjustable thermostat in every room! Keep things comfy while you sleep, guys.

So if you’re traveling to Disney World on a budget, don’t worry! Even the cheapest rooms available are still pretty nice. We’ve slept great in these rooms and still had awesome park days afterward.
