Universal Orlando Resort is now offering lenticular versions of on-ride photos at Jurassic Park River Adventure in Universal Islands of Adventure.
Lenticular On-Ride Photos
The lenticular photo depicts several dinosaurs reaching out with their mouths toward the riders in their raft vehicle as it splashes down at the end of the attraction. In the background is the classic Jurassic Park archway. The ride’s logo is at the bottom center, while the Islands of Adventure logo and date are in the right corner.
Moving the photo back and forth will make the dinosaurs appear to move closer.
So far, we’ve only seen the lenticular photo offered at Jurassic Park River Adventure, but it may pop up for other on-ride photos soon.
Standard photo prints and packages are also still available. A digital download is $23.99. Prints start at the same price. A one-day My Universal Photos package is $109.99.
Jurassic Park River Adventure is a thrilling water ride. The first version, known as Jurassic Park: The Ride, opened at Universal Studios Hollywood in June 1996. It was changed to Jurassic World: The Ride in 2019. The ride opened at Universal Islands of Adventure in March 1999 and at Universal Studios Japan in March 2001. A similar ride called Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure exists at Universal Studios Singapore.
Jurassic Park River Adventure at Universal Islands of Adventure will be closed for an annual refurbishment from January 8 through February 1, 2024, according to the theme park hours page on Universal Orlando’s official website.
