A new series of “The Sword in the Stone” 60th anniversary pins are available at Walt Disney World. “The Sword in the Stone” was released in U.S. theaters on Christmas Day, 1963.
These three new pins are available at Frontier Trading Post in Magic Kingdom.
Limited Edition ‘The Sword in the Stone’ Jumbo Merlin & Madam Mim Pin – $39.99
This pin depicts Mad Madam Mim and Merlin back to back, about to begin their wizards’ duel. Smoke forms behind them, with a “60” above Madam Mim’s head. Spinning pieces in the smoke showcase Mim and Merlin’s animal forms.
Limited Release Arthur & Sword Pin – $17.99
The pin depicts Arthur pulling the sword from the stone as Sir Ector and Sir Kay look on. “60” is on Sir Ector’s cape clasp.
Limited Edition Squirrels Pin – $19.99
The last pin shows Merlin in squirrel form atop a branch. A charm of Arthur also in squirrel form, with a real squirrel hugging him, hangs from the branch. The number 60 is at the end of the branch.
