British actor Tom Wilkinson has passed away.

The Oscar-nominated actor was known for roles in The Full Monty, Michael Clayton, and The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. He was 75.
The Associated Press reports Wilkinson died suddenly at home on Saturday, December 30th, 2023. No further details were shared in the statement provided by his agent.
He was nominated for a best actor Academy Award for his role in In the Bedroomand best supporting actor for his role in Michael Clayton. He is likely best known by many in Britain for playing former steel mill foreman Gerald Cooper in 1997’s The Full Monty. Disney+ later brought The Full Monty back for a revival.

Wilkinson was recognized for his services to theater when he was appointed a member of the Order of the British Empire in 2005. He is survived by his wife Diana Hardcastle and two daughters.
