The 43-year-old host of “The Masked Singer” recently said that his annual spend at Disneyland Resort is more than $200,000. With 12 children, Cannon reported that his frequent trips to the amusement park add up.
Nick Cannon Spends Over $200,000 at Disneyland Resort Per Year
On a recent episode of the NYC radio show, “The Breakfast Club,” Nick Cannon revealed that he visits Disneyland Resort more than once a month to celebrate milestones in his kids’ lives, reported Daily Mail. Cannon has 12 children, 9 of whom are under the age of 6.
In addition to paying for tickets and other add-ons to base tickets, Cannon reported that the high quote, 7.5 times higher than the average annual income in the United States, goes toward staying in on-property hotels and a chaperone to take the children around the theme park.
“Disneyland is expensive already off [the] top if [you’re] trying to stay in the hotel,” Cannon added. “It’s not how it used to be. You gotta make reservations.” He also shared that it’s very different now that he has so many young children and that it was a little easier when he just had a couple of children and would get free park tickets for hosting the Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade.
“It’s no longer free, and I only had two kids then,” he said, referring to his now 12-year-old twins with Mariah Carey. “I used to be an employee! I’m like, ‘Mickey, can’t you hook [me] up? Can I get my job back?’ That’s one job I need back.”
The cost of attending Disneyland has increased over time. In October, we reported that single-day and multi-day ticket prices were increasing up to 16% from the previous price. The price increase comes exactly one year after the resort raised the prices on 1-Day, 1-Park Multi-day, and Park Hopper tickets to their now-former prices. Other changes from October include an increase in the base price of the Genie+ service, a $5 spike in parking prices, and an increase in the cost of Magic Key passes.
