Over in Disneyland Park, you’ll find a few different restaurants in New Orleans Square, and two of those spots serve one of our favorite meals ever: the Monte Cristo Sandwich. It can be found on the menus of Cafe Orleans and its next-door neighbor, Blue Bayou RestaurantThis battered and fried sandwich (served with seasonal preserves) is a fan-favorite snack in Disneyland, but now there’s a NEW version of the sandwich available at a nearby quick service location!

Monte Cristo

Royal Street Veranda is a quick service restaurant that’s famous for serving up soup in tasty bread bowls.

Now we have a new reason to visit the Veranda: It’s serving WAFFLE-CRISTO sandwiches for breakfast!

The sandwiches are Belgian Waffles that are stuffed with Rosemary Ham, Turkey, and Swiss Cheese. They’re dusted in powdered sugar and served with Strawberry Preserves and Maple Syrup. You can get a full order for $10.99 or a half order for $6.99. WOAH.

Y’all know where to find us every single day for breakfast from now on 😅.

The sandwiches are only listed on the breakfast menu, so you’ll need to head there between 8AM and 10AM to get your hands on one. And don’t forget that you can use Mobile Order to order your food ahead of time and skip the line once you arrive!

Don’t worry — the classic Monte Cristo sandwiches are still on the menus at Blue Bayou and Cafe Orleans, so if you’re looking for the original, you know where to go.
