2024 is going to be BIG for Disneyland Resort!

Disney already released the calendar of events that we can expect in the coming months, and it has got us HYPED for what’s to come. From Disneyland After Dark (including a new Disney Channel Nite) to runDisney races and the holiday season, there are going to be plenty of reasons to plan trips. And if you’re hoping to head to the West Coast for Halloween, we’ve got news for you!

Halloween season is a very popular time to visit Disneyland Resort, and now, Disney has confirmed that the most popular Halloween event is coming back! That’s right, Oogie Boogie Bash will be returning to Disney California Adventure in 2024.

This hard-ticketed event typically runs on select nights in September and October, featuring treat trails with rare Disney villains, the Frightfully Fun Parade, and plenty of exclusive snacks. If you want to go, you have to be ON IT to purchase tickets…so when will they go on sale in 2024?

Disney hasn’t shared details about ticket sales yet, but historically, tickets have gone on sale toward the end of June. In 2023, tickets were released on June 27th, and in 2022, they dropped on June 28th. Both times, tickets sold out incredibly quickly, so you’ll want to be ready right when sales open!

We’ll also warn you that we’ve had issues with ticket sales in the past — namely, with packed virtual waiting rooms and incredibly long queues. In 2023, Disney had to pause the sales on the first day because so many people were interested in getting tickets. Essentially, you’ll want to be prepared in case of a technical nightmare.
