You won’t be a poor unfortunate soul if you can get your hands on this new blue Ursula Tiki Mug, available for a limited time at Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
Blue Ursula Tiki Mug – $75
The blue Ursula tiki mug is meant to look like the sea witch’s cauldron from the 1989 Disney animated film, “The Little Mermaid.” With your purchase, you get the tiki mug, a beverage, and a glow cube.
Unlike the original Ursula tiki mug that debuted in Disneyland and had a shiny finish, this one has a matte finish, which allows for the details of the mug to really pop.
The handle of the tiki mug is wrapped in one of Ursula’s tentacles. Polyps are also featured around the exterior.
Inside the mug, you can get a better view of the polyps, who were the former merpeople that Ursula captured to live on the ocean floor forever.
The center of the mug has a pedestal that’s fit for a removable orb-shaped glow cube. It lights up in five different colors: light blue, red, green, dark blue, and purple.
This is the glow cube’s light blue setting.
The glow cube’s red setting turns the inside of the mug a deep shade of crimson.
The glow cube’s green setting feels like it came right out of the movie.
The glow cube’s dark blue setting is very close to its purple setting, which you can see below.
Finally, this is the glow cube’s purple setting.
The Ursula Tiki Mug is available with two different beverages:
- Sign the Scroll: Kraken Black Spiced Rum, Bols Blue Curaçao Liqueur, Red Passion Fruit, and Pomegranate Juice
- Just Your Voice: Pomegranate Juice with flavors of Red Passion Fruit and Blue Curaçao topped with Soda Water (non-alcoholic beverage)
Your choice of beverage is served separately from the mug. The mug comes pre-packaged in a brown box.
