The small building on Grand Avenue has received some theming, better matching it to the area. The paneling we saw getting installed about a month ago is now covered in a brick wall facade, making the new structure match the Grand Avenue design.
New Brick Wall Façade Added to Grand Avenue Structure
The new Grand Avenue structure is beginning to look like it belongs in the area, thanks to these new details. Construction walls went up in the Grand Avenue area in June, and we later saw walls being knocked down. By August, a black framework was in place for a small structure — potentially a new snack stand. The building received paneling in October prior to this recent brick wall façade installation.
A large section of Grand Avenue remains blocked off during this construction.
The small building has started to receive the decoration on the sides facing the courtyard.
The walls have small vents cut into them.
The structure is surrounded with scaffolding.
Sections with active work are covered in scrim.
A small opening on this part of the roof has a finished edge of false brick wall, suggesting that it will remain open once the structure is completed.
