Crews have added even more Spaceship Earth-inspired paneling to the exterior of CommuniCore Hall, almost completely covering one wall. The wall, which is visible from World Nature, is now almost completely covered in the themed paneling.
Spaceship Earth Paneling on CommuniCore Hall
More paneling has been added to the far end of the wall since our last look at this part of CommuniCore Hall. There are some gaps in the paneling throughout, but those might be filled in with colored accent panels.
Some of the paneling is flat, while other pieces stick out as pyramids, adding dimension to the structure.
Though Disney implied World Celebration as a whole would open in December, their recent announcement did not mention CommuniCore Hall, so it seems the new building might not open until 2024.
The new World Celebration Gardens, including Dreamers Point and the Walt the Dreamer statue, will open on Walt’s birthday, December 5. Construction walls have been moved back multiple times as construction in the area is completed. An aerial view of construction on the gardens shows they are nearly complete.
“Luminous: The Symphony of Us,” the new EPCOT nighttime spectacular, will debut on the same day.
When CommuniCore Hall does open, it will include a new permanent Mickey & Friends meet and greet space, which concept art suggests will be behind the walls of Spaceship Earth paneling. There will also be a demo kitchen, gallery space, and a mixology bar. CommuniCore Plaza will have a stage for live performances.
