An EPCOT pathway next to Journey of Water, Inspired by “Moana,” that connects World Nature and World Celebration has been closed for several days due to a reported leak. Disney has repaired the leak and the pathway is open again.
EPCOT Pathway Reopens After Leak
The pathway is between Journey of Water and the attraction’s water station, which is behind the Moana meet and greet.
Construction walls blocked the pathway on this side, with the meet and greet queue set up in front of the walls.
On the other end of the pathway, stanchions were right behind this World Celebration sign and walls were up several yards down the sidewalk.
As of Thursday, the pathway is back open, with the stanchions and construction walls all gone.
It provides another route from World Nature to the new center of World Celebration.
The Moana meet and greet queue will now run down one side of the pathway if necessary.
The reported leak was under the sidewalk and caused a loud hissing sound. The pavement has been repaired where the leak was located.
During the brief cold season in Central Florida, Journey of Water is running heated water and Moana is appearing in a warm poncho. Check out our Journey of Water, Inspired by “Moana” walkthrough.
