Another Friendship Boat at Walt Disney World has debuted a new blue color scheme. Last summer, some Friendship Boats were removed from service. Friendship III was the first to return to service with new red and blue paint, followed by Friendship IV with a yellow and blue colorway. This summer, Friendship VIII debuted a blue and yellow look. Now it’s Friendship I’s turn for an updated color scheme.
Friendship Boat I Repainted
The Friendship Boats service EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and nearby resort hotels.
Friendship I’s new color scheme is very nautical, with multiple shades of blue, and white and red accents.
The hull is dark blue with a thin red stripe at the top of it followed by a white section.
A slightly brighter blue surrounds the cabin windows.
A third shade of blue wraps around the roof of the boat.
As with the previous boats, the interior of Friendship I does not have a new color scheme. The bench seats are still teal.
The dark blue, red, and green Walt Disney World transportation transportation logo is by the back door.
The “Friendship I” sign is on the back of the boat.
The life preservers are labeled “Friendship” and “World Showcase.”

Friendship Boats usually begin operating around 7 a.m. and continue service until one hour after park close, but hours vary depending on park hours and weather conditions.
