To make way for new experiences, The Beast’s Library at Sorcerer’s Workshop in Disney California Adventure has permanently closed.
The Beast’s Library Closes at Disney California Adventure
We reported a few weeks ago that Beast’s Library was going to close at Sorcerer’s Workshop in Disney’s California Adventure. Today, the experience shuttered for good.
This signage still indicates the different locations inside Sorcerer’s Workshop.
With Beast’s Library closing today, only one of these attractions is currently open.
Ursula’s Grotto has also closed.
Only the Magic Mirror Realm area included on this signage is still open.
In front of the entrance area, a “This Attraction is Unavailable” sign indicates to guests that the space is closed.
Now that the lights have dimmed for this attraction, Disney is making way for Imagination Campus to take over the space.
Disney Imagination Campus, formerly Disney Youth Programs, has a variety of programs for students and educators. Disney Imagination Campus will begin operations in the Disney Animation Building on December 15.
The rest of the Disney Animation Building will remain open to guests, though Disney Imagination Campus may use other spaces as needed. The building, located in Hollywood Land at Disney California Adventure, includes Animation Academy, Anna & Elsa’s Royal Welcome, and Turtle Talk with Crush. Beast’s Library is part of the Sorcerer’s Workshop, the rest of which will remain open.
