The creatures and Cast Members of The Seas With Nemo & Friends Pavilion at EPCOT celebrated Hanukkah and are gearing up for Christmas this year with decorations and Santa hats.
The Seas Holiday Decorations
In this tank, a sea urchin is wearing its own red and white Santa hat.
More sea urchins are wearing hats in the nursery. Keep scrolling to see those photos.
The decorations are made of safe materials for the creatures.
This seahorse was enjoying the candy canes stuck in the sand.
This same tank has two gift boxes wrapped with zip ties and a Christmas “tree” decorated with seashells.
During our visit, two divers were playing catch while wearing Santa hats in the dolphin tank.
Unfortunately, one diver lost their hat.
Here’s another sea urchin wearing a Santa hat in the nursery.
Another sea urchin has reindeer antlers, although it looks like they were knocked over.
The nursery also has a Christmas tree made of sticks with a white star on top.
The cuttlefish tank has a gingerbread village complete with a flat green tree and white stars. There are hidden Mickeys on the four “gingerbread” houses. According to the sign, this gingerbread village was established in 2014.
The next tank has some ornaments sitting in the sand and hanging over seaweed.
A starfish has settled next to a tiny snowman. There are also snowflakes on some of the underwater branches.
The snowman has two tiny presents and a top hat.
The Seas even has a pipe menorah with some floating dreidels. During Hanukkah (which ran from December 7 through December 15), Cast Members added pieces of coral to the “candle” holders each day.
Lastly, Nemo’s clownfish and anemone friends have their own fireplace and chimney.
Santa is diving down the chimney from the water’s surface.

The exterior of The Seas With Nemo & Friends was recently refreshed, including a new roof paint job resembling the pavilion’s original 1980s roof color. Cast Members of The Seas and Journey of Water Inspired by “Moana” have new environmentally-friendly costumes.
