There’s no better place to get ice cream than Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream Parlour in Diagon Alley. Wizards and muggles agree, this is the best ice cream at Universal Orlando. With a variety of unique flavors like chocolate chili and earl grey and lavender, Florean Fortescue’s is a must when visiting the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Now, there’s another sweet reason to visit on your next trip to Universal Studios Florida. Huckleberry ice cream has been added to the menu, and we couldn’t wait to give it a try.
Huckleberry Ice Cream in a Waffle Cone – $7.49
This hard packed ice cream flavor can be served in a cup, souvenir dish, or waffle cone. Each order gets two scoops, so you can choose to pair two different flavors together if you’d like. We decided to get a double scoop of huckleberry in a waffle cone. Thankfully, the weather was cool outside, so it didn’t melt too quickly.
This was absolutely amazing. We were delighted by the sweet and creamy flavor. Surprisingly, the huckleberry flavor wasn’t too tart or sweet. This ice cream was delicious, with a berries and cream kind of taste.
This might be our new favorite flavor of ice cream from Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream Parlour. Next time, we may consider pairing it with vanilla or clotted cream and adding shortbread crumbles to take it up a notch. One of the best parts of Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream Parlour is the ability to combine two flavors. You can even combine 2 flavors of soft serve. Watch us try the new flavor in the latest episode of “What’s New at Universal Orlando”.
What’s your favorite ice cream flavor from Florean Fortescue’s? Will you be trying the huckleberry ice cream on your next trip to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter?
