START DATE ANNOUNCED for Annual Passholder Ticket CHANGES in Disney World

Attention, Disney World Annual Passholders! A BIG ticket change is coming SOON, and it’ll probably affect your next trip to the parks!

Annual Pass card

Disney previously announced that “Good-To-Go” days were coming for Annual Passholders and Cast Members. These are days when Passholders and Cast Members will NOT have to make a Park Pass Reservation to enter the theme parks. Now, we know when those “Good-To-Go” days will be released!

Good-To-Go Days will be visible in the Annual Passholder calendar starting on January 11th, 2024. They will also be visible for Cast Members in their calendar starting on that day.

On these days, Annual Passholders and Cast Members can visit ANY of the four Disney World theme parks without a Park Pass Reservation.

Note that Annual Passholders and Cast Members still need to make Park Pass Reservations on most days, even after park passes disappear for date-based tickets on January 9th, 2024. The Good-To-Go days are an exception to this rule.

You can view the Good-To-Go Days on the Theme Park Reservation calendar, the Annual Passholder admissions calendar, and the Disney World app.

Disney announced that more Good-To-Go Days will be added periodically. The dates could be released days or weeks at a time, so you’ll want to check those calendars frequently in case new ones pop up.

Annual Pass

Keep in mind that blockout days will still apply for Annual Passholders and Cast Members.

Annual Passholders and Cast Members will still need park passes on days that are not “Good-To-Go,” but don’t forget that all-day Park Hopping is returning on January 9th! As long as Annual Passholders have a Park Pass Reservation and enter that park first, they can hop over to any other park at any time of day (provided it’s during park hours, of course) starting on the 9th. So if you’re not able to get the park pass you want, just get one for a different park, enter that park, and then immediately hop to the one you wanted originally.

Annual Passholders can also visit any theme park after 2PM without a Park Pass Reservation, although Magic Kingdom is excluded from this rule on Saturdays and Sundays.

So, to sum up, Annual Passholders WILL need a Park Pass Reservation to visit Disney World parks EXCEPT in these situations:

  • Good-To-Go Days
  • Any day after 2PM, excluding Magic Kingdom on Saturdays and Sundays
  • (Starting January 9th) You have a Park Pass and have entered that park — at this point, you can hop to any other park at any time of day.
