STOP Paying Full Price for Disney Souvenirs

Hey, you! Yeah, you — we’re friends, right? Okay, then we’re gonna be a little bit blunt.

Let’s go shopping!

WHAT are you still doing paying full price for Disney souvenirs?! In this day and age… in THIS economy? No, no. That just simply won’t do. You see, Dear DFB Reader, you don’t always HAVE to fork out an entire paycheck to feed your Disney obsession (though we’ll admit that sometimes, you do!) and we’re telling you just how you can stop it.

Trust us, we know how tempting it is to snatch that souvenir up as soon as you see it. Go ahead, you’re on vacation, right? WRONG! Okay, well, you’re not wrong that you’re on vacation, but you’re wrong if you think you can’t find that souvenir for a better price. It may not always be the case, but sometimes you can find just what you’re looking for — but CHEAPER.

Here’s the deal — a ton of Disney park items can be found on the shopDisney website. Of course, there are certain park-exclusive items, but if it’s available on the shopDisney website, then there may be a chance it will go on sale soon. It’s worth it to keep an eye out and you might even find something you didn’t see in the parks you’d like more!

We also have to mention the Disney Character Warehouse. The Disney Character Warehouse is a Disney retail chain featuring official character toys, clothes, collectibles, and more at outlet prices.

Disney Parks operates these locations as liquidation stores for Disney Parks & Resorts merchandise from coast to coast — then it’s all shipped to Florida, where you can find cheap Disney souvenirs that were available in the parks, cruises, or even Aulani at some point. The next time you’re in Disney World, stop by the Character Warehouse for some seriously discounted items!

Did you know that you can also often find a ton of Disney designer items at stores like Marshall’s and TJ Maxx?! It’s true! We’ve seen BaubleBar, Loungefly, and more at these stores. We recently spotted Loungefly bags at Marshall’s for as little as $30.

You also have the option of shopping at Target and Walmart near the parks. A good majority of the time, these stores have a seriously massive selection of items due to their proximity to the parks. You can find apparel, home and kitchen items, accessories, ears, water bottles, art, coloring books, and so much more at these stores. Not only that, but they’re likely going to be a whole lot cheaper than if you had purchased something similar in the parks.

Of course, if there’s something specific you or your little one has their heart set on, it may not make sense to wait since there’s no guarantee an item will go on sale or be available somewhere else for cheaper. But, if you’ve got a little flexibility this can be a great way to bring home a souvenir without paying full price!
