Universal Volcano Bay will be closed on Wednesday, December 20, due to cold weather, marking the fifth day in a row the water park is closed.
Universal Volcano Bay Announces Closure
Universal Orlando Resort announced on X (formerly Twitter) that the park would be closed.
Universal Volcano Bay has been closed since December 16 due to storms and low temperatures in Central Florida. Tuesday’s high is only 61 degrees Fahrenheit. The high on Wednesday is expected to be 69 degrees Fahrenheit. After that, temperatures are expected to rise back up into the 70s.
The water park has closed a few other days this fall due to inclement weather.
Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park is also closed through Wednesday.
