Alongside the announcement of “The Mandalorian & Grogu,” Lucasfilm confirmed that “Ahsoka” season 2 is in development.
“Ahsoka” Season 2
The second season of the Disney+ original series will be helmed by Dave Filoni.
Ahsoka will likely be reprised by Rosario Dawson, who has portrayed the adult live action version of the character previously in “The Mandalorian,” “The Book of Boba Fett,” and the first season of “Ahsoka.” Ariana Greenblatt played a young version of Ahsoka in the first season, and Ashley Eckstein voiced the character in “Star Wars: The Clone Wars,” “Star Wars: Rebels,” and more.
It’s unknown which of the existing cast will return. The first season also featured Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, Eman Esfandi as Ezra Bridger, Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn, David Tennant as Huyang, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, and the late Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll.
Ahsoka is coming to Star Tours at Disneyland later this year as part of Season of the Force. Her scenes are slated for Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disneyland Paris as well, though no time frame has been announced for those locations.
