Cindy Morgan, an actress who starred in Tron, and Caddyshack, has passed away at the age of 69.
Morgan was known for her roles as Lora Baines and Yori in Disney’s Tron, as well as her role as Lacey Underall in Caddyshack. She also appeared on multiple TV shows in the ’80s and ’90s.
Variety confirmed via The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s office in Florida that the actress died of natural causes. Officials were not able to specify exactly when she passed away. Morgan was born in Chicago, on September 29th, 1954. She gained notoriety for her performance as Lacey, a blonde bombshell character, in Caddyshack, which starred Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, and Rodney Dangerfield.
Morgan also guest starred on TV shows like The Love Boat, Chips, and Vegas, but went on to star in Disney’s 1982 movie, Tron, as both computer programmer Lora Baines and Yori, the programmer’s alter-ego in The Grid. She returned to the world of Tron to voice the character of Ma3a in a 2003 video game, Tron 2.0.
Morgan’s other film credits include Up Yours (1979), Galaxis (1995), and Open Mic’rs (2006). Her most recent voice acting role was in the 2022 indie film Face of the Trinity as Mason’s mother. She also appeared in multiple TV series, including Matlock, The Fall Guy, The Larry Sanders Show, and more.
