Magic Kingdom
- The closing date has been announced for the Country Bear Jamboree at Magic Kingdom, as well as the reopening window for its new iteration, the Country Bear Musical Jamboree.
- The Disney Parks Blog also teased even more news to come for Frontierland at Magic Kingdom.
New Merchandise
- A new pin-of-the-month series for 2024, Walt Disney World Parades, has arrived. The first pin in the series features Figment, the beloved purple dragon from EPCOT’s Journey Into Imagination attraction.
- It’s not even February yet, but Valentine’s Day merchandise is starting to arrive at Walt Disney World, including this new Valentine’s Day Walt Disney World Starbucks Tumbler.
- Collectors of Disney die-cast vehicles now have a new addition to collect: a smaller version of the real-life Walt Disney World Guardians of the Galaxy bus featuring Rocket Raccoon and Groot.
Other Walt Disney World News
- The COVID-era park hopping restrictions have finally been lifted at Walt Disney World after three years.
- Despite the return of all-day park hopping, some guests trying to book Lightning Lane attraction reservations are still restricted to the previous 2 p.m. rule.
- With guests now able to park hop anytime, bus service between the Walt Disney World theme parks is now available in the morning.
- A tornado watch has been issued for much of Central Florida by The National Weather Service, including Orange County, where Walt Disney World is located, ahead of expected severe weather this evening.
Disneyland Resort
- At this year’s Lunar New Year Festival in Disney California Adventure, guests will be able to meet Meilin and Ming from “Turning Red.”
- The Tiana’s Foods water tower has finally been installed at Disneyland Park, marking a new milestone in the transformation of the former Splash Mountain into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
- A new Sleeping Beauty Castle Starbucks Tumbler has made its debut at Disneyland Resort, following its release on shopDisney.
- Two new popcorn buckets and tumblers have arrived at Disneyland Resort today: the Joey Chou Disneyland popcorn bucket and travel tumbler, the Play in the Park thermo tumbler, and the discounted refillable Magic Key popcorn bucket.
Entertainment and Media
- A new collaboration from Disney and Ravensburger, the company behind Disney Lorcana and Villainous, has been announced — Chronicles of Light: Darkness Falls, a tabletop RPG.
- A title and production timeline have been announced for a movie spawning from the hit series “The Mandalorian.”
