The Imagination! Pavilion Lounge is an exclusive area located inside EPCOT’s Imagination! Pavilion. Opened in 2016, this lounge provides a space for Disney Vacation Club (DVC) members to relax during their visit to the park.
History
The Imagination! Pavilion itself dates back to EPCOT’s opening day on October 1, 1982. Originally sponsored by Kodak, the pavilion has housed the Journey Into Imagination dark ride since 1983. The ride has gone through several iterations over the years. In 2016, Disney decided to open up the unused second floor of the pavilion as a DVC member lounge. This space was previously home to an interactive area called ImageWorks from 1982-1998. The lounge sits directly beneath the pavilion’s signature glass pyramid.
Location
The Imagination! Pavilion is located in EPCOT’s World Celebration area, alongside other key attractions like Spaceship Earth and the Festival Center. The DVC member lounge entrance can be found on the second floor of the ImageWorks gift shop, which guests walk through after exiting the Journey Into Imagination ride. Members must check in at the DVC podium in ImageWorks to access the lounge.
Operating Hours
The Imagination! Pavilion Lounge is open daily from 11AM to 6PM. These hours are subject to change, particularly during special events or peak seasons. Members should check the My Disney Experience app for the most up-to-date hours of operation.
Membership
As a DVC member lounge, only current Disney Vacation Club members can utilize the space.
To enter, members must present:
- Valid DVC Membership Card
- Valid photo ID
The name on both the membership card and photo ID must match. Members can bring up to 5 guests with them into the lounge.

Inside the lounge, members will find:
- Comfortable seating and tables
- Complimentary Coca-Cola Freestyle beverages
- Phone charging stations
- Free WiFi
- Printer
- Interactive screens
- Children’s play area
Walls of windows provide scenic views overlooking World Celebration. There’s also a photo spot for group pictures. Cast Members are on hand to assist members as needed.
Food & Drinks
In addition to the Coca-Cola Freestyle machines, the lounge typically offers light snacks like:
- Potato chips
- Pretzels
- Granola bars
- Rice Krispie treats
The complimentary snacks and beverages allow members a place for a quick break without having to leave EPCOT. The Imagination! Pavilion Lounge has fast become a beloved spot for DVC members when visiting EPCOT. With its central location and member-exclusive amenities, it’s easy to see why members appreciate this oasis during their park days.
