Building permits for the new gate were filed with the City of Anaheim on December 8, 2023 for both the updated park gates.
For Disneyland Park, the description includes plans to remove existing turnstile and gates, install new automatic guest entry gates, fixed manual gates, and removable railings. The installation of overhead shrouds was also listed.
For Disney California Adventure, plans include the removal of existing turnstile and gates to install new automatic guest entry gates, fixed manual gates, and removable railings, as well as new overhead shrouds. It’s worth noting that Disney California Adventure had two separate permits filed for both the turnstile and the gate.
