YES, you read that correctly, there are days you can get FREE dining in Disney World in 2024.

The Disney Dining Plan has finally returned to Disney World after nearly 3 years of being gone, and many guests are thrilled at this change. The plan allows you bundle the meals during your Disney vacation with your hotel room, and pre-pay for them. However, it takes a lot of planning to decide if the Dining Plan is right for you and your family because it’s not the best fit for everyone. But if you’re looking for a way to get a FREE Disney Dining Plan in 2024, here’s when it can happen!

Disney has brought back a popular deal for Disney+ subscribers that gives you and you entire party a FREE Disney Dining Plan for your entire trip. There are a few catches though!

The first is that you have to be a Disney+ subscriber. Not everyone in your whole family has to be, but at least one person needs to be. Additionally, the deal cannot be combined with other discounts that might be available — like current discounts on hotel rooms (you might need to do some calculations to determine if you could actually SAVE money by buying your food and getting a hotel discount rate instead).

Now for the DAYS you can eat for free in Disney World! The deal is available from July 1st to September 30th, 2024. And while your mileage could vary, we have found that as long as the first day of your vacation is September 30th, your whole trip will be eligible for the discount! Now there could be select days, or select days at certain hotels, where the deal is already booked up or otherwise unavailable — again, that’s why we recommend you work with a pro to get this booked. There are times during the summer when the deal could sell out!

One important thing to know is that this free dining deal is advertised as being for $.day, 4-night vacation stays. But as is often the case with Disney World promotions, we have found in our searches that you can book longer or shorter stays and still get the Disney Dining Plan free.
