Florida Is Participating in Winter This Week — Watch Out for COLD Temps in Disney World!

It is STILL January. Is it just us or does it feel like January has lasted 584 days?

It looks gloomy and cold in Magic Kingdom!

It feels like ages ago that we rang in the new year. Unfortunately, we’re still in the winter months. Now, that doesn’t always mean cold winter weather in Disney World. Some days we’ve seen it nearing 80 degrees in Disney World this month. But the next couple of days are here to remind us that, yes, we are still in January.

According to Matt Devitt from WINK News on X, Florida is going to be going back into a cold snap. By Tuesday morning, the Disney World area will be looking at temperatures around 40 degrees, possibly colder!

The cute little lizard friend softened the blow of the news for us. He was looking pretty cute in his little snow hat. But for real, we’ve got another lizard warning on our hands for the next couple of days!

If you’re headed to the parks in the next couple of days, be sure to bundle up! Some great essentials like jackets, sweaters, hats, and gloves will make your time in the parks much more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a place to warm up, check out one of the many indoor shows or dining locations.

We hope the cold doesn’t bother you, anyway! Disney is always ready with last-minute warm gear to save the day. Enjoy these cool days because January does have to end, eventually, and then the heat will strike.
